NYC diary...spent the day hanging in Brooklyn and Williamsburg today: Brooklyn is a fab mix of bleak industrial grimness and beautiful Hampstead-esque village houses and W'Burg truly rocks - I want to live here! We checked out some great stores/cafes, browsed in a top political bookstore and looked out across the Hudson to see the Empire State at night... wonderful stuff... ;)
