Tate Modern/Brighton rocks!
Top weekend! On Saturday, I checked out the amazing 'Weather Project' at the Tate Modern - an amazing installation that creates an indoor outdoors, if you get my drift! It really is an amazing sight, with a huge yellow sun dominating the end of the massive Turbine Hall and clouds of dry ice making it look like a scene from another world. Unmissable stuff! Later on I sped down to Brighton to check out the seaside delights of Brighton and see the Actionettes at the excellent Sussex Arts Club. Next day, we took a stroll around the sea front and visited the moribund wreckage of the West Pier - it's so sad to see this once fine pier rusting into the sea... |
