A new Bard of Brixton!
Last night saw the annual Bard of Brixton poetry slam-down at the Albert, with the excellent Jack rightly crowned as the winner. The Albert had been decked out with a Berlin-esque, velvet and chandelier-draped stage, the place was packed with a fabulous atmosphere. A great night!

Today's a greyer day than Billy Grey's Old Grey socks on Grey Day, so I'm playing some suitably melancholy tunes:
Kathryn Williams: Fell Down Fast
Innocence Mission: When Mac was Swimming
Jane Siberry: The Walking (and constantly)
Cowboy Junkies: Sun Comes up it's Tuesday Morning
