Currified!
I'm still barely able to walk after last night's uber-curry at the Strand Continental Hotel (no, it's nowhere near as posh as it sounds!). I'd gatecrashed the bi-annual meal of the urban75 Book Club and it was a treat to visit the India Club - a delightfully anachronistic curry house situated right next to the Indian Embassy in the Aldwych. 
It's all a bit chaotic inside and the decor has definitely seen better days, but the food was good and the waiters friendly. As ever, the combination of good Indian food and lots of lager (you can bring your own) meant that I stuffed my fat face full to the brim and waddled home...
