A walk through the Greenwich foot tunnel

I love walking through tunnels, so here’s a few photos of my wander through the 1902 foot tunnel under the Thames.

Running from Greenwich to the Isle of Dogs, the 1,217 ft tunnel contains no less than 200, 000 white tiles…

There’s a lift at both ends, bit the spiral staircase is more fun. On the way down, at least.
