Bright light over London. Are we calling Batman?

There’s a very bright blue light shining up into the central London night sky from what must be somewhere around the Southbank.

I don’t think we’re in need of Batman right now, so does anyone know what it is?

The light varies in hue from blue to a greener shade, slowly altering its intensity, direction and beam width.

Maybe it’s some sort of uber-film crew lighting? If so, they’re working late!

At first, I thought it might be the return of the awesome noctilucent clouds seen over Brixton a few years ago. The pic I took of that made it to the BBC news!
