Brixton Fight the Cuts protest outside Lambeth Town Hall, Monday 7th Feb 2011

There was a big and very lively turn out tonight outside Lambeth Town Hall as councillors met inside to discuss a proposed £37 million package of cuts which will cost 600 jobs – including all School Crossing Patrol staff and Parks Rangers.

As the council went into session, an ad hoc roadblock formed on Effra Road, chanting loudly.
