Brixton anti-cuts demo outside Lambeth Town Hall, Feb 7th, 2011

There was a big and very lively turn out tonight outside Lambeth Town Hall as councillors met inside to discuss a proposed £37 million package of cuts which will cost 600 jobs – including all School Crossing Patrol staff and Parks Rangers.

The support from passing cars was deafening!

As the council went into session, an ad hoc roadblock formed on Effra Road, chanting loudly.
