Brixton pub quizzes: a handy list

Brixton pub quizzes: a handy list

I’m fairly partial to a beer-fuelled pub quiz or two, and there’s always quite a few going on around Brixton in the week.

There doesn’t seem to be any official listings anywhere, so a compilation has been put together by posters on the urban75 bulletin board.

Here’s the confirmed quiz days so far, with comments from forum posters. As always, we recommend you check with the pub before heading out.

Tuesdays:

The Grosvenor, Sidney Street. Stockwell, SW9
‘Nicely laid back night with very tough questions – some that might appeal to Dr Brian Cox.’

Queens Head, 144 Stockwell Road SW9 (every other week)
‘Excellent evening’ ‘ ‘Top quiz.’

Prince Regent, 69 Dulwich Road, SE24 0NJ
‘Best for all-round questions’

Wednesdays

Sun & Doves, 61 Coldharbour Lane SW9
(Not yet reviewed)

Thursdays

Elm Park Tavern, Elm Park Road SW2
‘Offering a hugely entertaining and quite bonkers quiz master, this is a great local quiz’

Trinity Arms, 45 Trinity Gardens, SW9 8DR

Cambria, 40 Kemerton Rd, Camberwell, London SE5 9A
