Cafe Sitifis review, 11 Rushcroft Road, London SW2 1JS

Tucked away off the main drag of Brixton’s Coldharbour Lane is Cafe Sitifis, a friendly cafe serving up a  reasonably-priced selection of meze, hot and cold paninis, cooked and continental breakfasts, patisserie (including cakes to order) and coffee supplied directly from a Colombian producer.

Opened in June last year, the interior mixes North African influences with a modern, contemporary style with benches, seats, sofas and cushions.

We grabbed a veggie meze and mozzarella and tomato panini and the portions were both generous and very tasty – and good value too. The service was friendly and attentive throughout.

The cafe is great for kids – without us even asking, one of the staff came over, dismantled a table to create a large carpeted play area and brought out a big box of toys for the little one to wreak havoc on.

  1. Totally agree. Fantastic food and great value. A little gem of a cafe tucked away from the busy main streets. Well worth a visit. The home made cakes and pastries are amazing!

  2. Completely agree – went there for lunch today. Asked for something vegan and the friendly waitress bought over a huge plate full of different mezes. They were also happy for me to pay-by-text using Brixton Pounds.
