Devonshire Road nature reserve annual Open Day, London SE23

Devonshire Road Nature Reserve Annual Open Day

Located along one side of the Forest Hill to New Cross Gate railway cutting, Devonshire Road Nature Reserve is a delightful place to spend n afternoon.
Listed as a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation, the nature reserve is open for the last Sunday of the month 2pm- 5.30pm.

We went along to their annual Open Day, where we enjoyed tea and cake and listened to our mates, the No Frills band (and friends) play some spirited folk.

The nature reserve railway runs along one one side of  the busy railway line to London Bridge.

The kid was brilliant at the trumpet!
