Last weekend the weather was rather delightful, and I took a stroll around London’s Green Park, one of the Royal Parks of London, and grabbed some photos on my perambulations.

Green Park covers 47 acres between Hyde Park and St. James’s Park, and is unusual in that it has no lakes, no buildings and few monuments.

Like several other London parks, it still has lovely gas lighting throughout (see feature: London: two centuries of gas lighting).

With the weather being kind, there were several takers for the deckchairs which, as you can see above, can be yours for an hour for £1.60, or you can loll about all day for £8.

Here’s some more views from the park.
