Lake District: three walks

We managed to get in a few good walks while we were staying in Cartmel in Cumbria, right on the edge of the Lake District.

Here’s some photos:

  1. A very special area, and great photographs. I think it would be good if more people stayed in holiday accommodation on the fringes of the Lake District rather than all concentrating in the “honey-pot” areas around Windermere and Derwentwater. And where better than the Cartmel area! A good base for walking, and I like the idea of the geese joining you on your walks.
