On Saturday, central London was ablaze with the colours of the rainbow as the annual Pride parade matched through the centre of the city.

An estimated 26,000 people joined the parade for the biggest march in the event’s 45-year history.

Watched by massive crowds, the parade went along a 1.4 mile route from Portland Place to Whitehall, via Oxford Circus and Regent Street.

  1. Yes mate. As sorry as I am to read about your father dying in the trenches (may he rest in peace), it is PRECISELY for the freedom we can enjoy now (and sadly take for granted), that you, I and them and express themselves to their heart’s desire.

    Had he not contributed in his honourable fight to bring us Germans down in our most disgraceful historical period, you most likely wouldn’t have been able to write these lines here at the first place.
    Or you would’ve done so in German. Then shot.
