London Nocturne 2012 bike races at Smithfield, central London, Saturday 9th June 2012

On Saturday, we all went along to the London Nocturne cycling event, held around Smithfield Market in Farringdon, central London.

The Nocturne features all sorts of races, with folding bikes, Penny Farthings and pro cyclists all taking turns to compete on the sharply curved track around the Smithfield meat market.

Here’s some photos from the day.

The mighty Mrs Mills Experience played rousing music hall tracks as the Penny Farthings raced around the circuit.
