Lost London 1870 – 1945: stunning unpublished archive images

Stuffed full of over 500 incredible photographs of London taken between 1875 and 1945, this coffee table book from English Heritage is an absolute treat.

The  previously unpublished images show stunning buildings from Elizabethan, Georgian and Victorian London before great swathes of London were redeveloped.

The photographs are of incredibly high quality – you can easily spend ages getting lost in just one image seeking out details.
