Margate Dreamland, abandoned funfair

Abandoned since 2005, almost all of Margate’s Dreamland amusement park has been swept away, with just the cinema and part of the Scenic Railway surviving.

  1. Unfortunately, the title of this article contains a common error; a funfair is a travelling ride collection. Still, the article itself uses the correct term, “amusement park”. (Another mistake is to say “theme park” if the park hasn’t got any theming, as was the case with Dreamland.)
