Pic of the day: Otford Station - broken window, hazard tape and BR symbol

Spotted yesterday – a hand-painted British Railways logo painted on to the wall of Otford railway station in Kent, next to a damaged window covered in hazard tape.

Formed of two interlocked arrows showing the direction of travel on a double track railway and introduced in 1965, the British Rail “double arrow” logo was swiftly nicknamed “the arrow of indecision” when it was first introduced.

See more railway features here and here.
