St George Wharf Tower rises in Vauxhall

Soon to be the tallest residential building in the UK, St George Wharf Tower continues to thrust its cylindrical form up into the London skyline.

Also known as The Tower, the skyscraper is located in Vauxhall, London, and will stand 181 metres (594 ft) tall with 49 storeys when completed (as seen in this shiny artist’s rendition).

This view from Brixton shows how tall the tower has already reached.

To the far right, you can see the pencil-thin BT Tower, while even further to the right you can just make out the flag on top of the Houses of Parliament.
