It’s not often I venture south into Streatham, but here’s some photos from Streatham High Road which has the honour of being both Britain’s longest High Street and its worst (according to a 2002 poll).
It’s certainly seen far better days, with endless delays to a controversial Tesco-led redevelopment keeping a large area in limbo for nearly a decade.
