After some initial catastrophic equipment failures – to the tune of three borked CD decks and two knackered turntables (!) – things soon got lively at the Prince Albert in Brixton last night, with a full house and a great crowd.

There’s a night of festive fun lined up for the Brixton Albert this Thursday with a 7pm pub quiz followed by the debut live performance of SLEIGHED leading a mass sing-along of Christmas pop classics.

There was no shortage of festive spirit at the Brixton Albert last Saturday, with a packed house making it a fantastic night.
On stage were the superb Lost Cavalry and Sanjuro, with DJs till the wee small hours.
We’re back on Thursday (Dec 22nd) for a particularly mad evening of fun, and then one more Christmas show on Friday before taking a break to get ready for the New Year’s Eve special!

In the space of just ten days, the Prince Albert underwent a huge transformation, with the venue gaining a fantastic new stage, a proper DJ/mixing area (no more wobbly tables), a new PA and lights.
We hosted the reopening party last night to a packed house – and the place looks fantastic!

Saturday night in Brixton turned out to be a bumper night out, warming up at the Queen’s Head in Stockwell, before watching the fabulous Carter USM rock the Brixton Academy, and then DJing at the official after show party at Brixton Jamm. It was a big night out!

Offline Club regulars and all round decent chaps, The Lost Cavalry, have just released a new video to accompany their Snow City Radio EP, and it’s a very splendid thing indeed.
