The Monochrome Set at the Cardiff Globe - in photos, March 2017

Last weekend, I returned to my hometown of Cardiff to play a show with The Monochrome Set at the Globe, on Albany Road. I had a splendid time!

A former cinema, the Globe is a great performance space, with two levels and a large stage. Here’s the band soundchecking

Soundcheck over, keyboard player John gets his beer and tab sorted.

Looking down at the well-stocked merch stall.

Support band The Hepburns were a lovely lot.

Fairy lights installed. Beers by the kit. Let the gig commence!

John shows off his ‘traditional Welsh costume.’

The crowd were great. I had a lot of family in, so enjoyed much heckling throughout the set. The bastards.

The Western Mail were very kind in their review of the gig.

More Monochrome Set info on the Facebook page and official site.
