The Shard – time-lapse video shows the great tower rising over London

This fantastic time-lapse video shows the final stages of construction of Europe’s largest skyscraper, The Shard, towering over London Bridge in the heart of London.

Put together by Paul Raftery, architectural photographer, and Dan Lowe, director, the video was shot in the early months of 2012 and shows the iconic tower from several locations, including Greenwich Park to Hampstead Heath.
