Soaring over the fabulously over-the-top baroque roof-line of The Ritz by Green Park can be spotted this kite, which is rather convincingly shaped like a hawk.
One of two ‘bird kites’ installed on the roof, the pigeon-scaring movement appears quite natural – until you realise it’s stuck to a six metre flexible telescopic pole, of course!
You can spot the bird if you stand by Green Park tube station and look towards Piccadilly Circus, above the Ritz hotel.
