Walking the London Loop – Hatton Cross to Kingston

Walking the London Loop, Section 9 Hatton Cross to Kingston Bridge via Hounslow and Bushey Park, west London, England, 3rd October, 2010

This was one for the ‘ardcore walkers, with the rain belting down at the start, deeply flooded footpaths to traverse and a fairly ambitious 12 miles to cover in fading light.

The walk started at Hatton Cross, where the ground shook to the roar of planes taking off overhead.

That’s the footpath on the right!

A necessary diversion took us through this delightful industrial park.

Flooded path. My boots weren’t up to knee deep water!

Onto the (dry!) heathland.

Deer in Bushey Park.
