It seemed a crazy idea: host a new cabaret night on a pub's quietest night of the week, and choose the last Tuesday of the month (when wage packets have run out) and do it the day after a Bank Holiday.
![]() So I was all prepared for a very intimate audience at Prince Albert, Brixton, but the Cabaret Special turned out to be a heap of fun, with an ace hurdy gurdy band, top comedy/poetry acts and a headliner that got the place rocking.
