London Nocturne 2012Annual bike races with Pros, Penny Farthings and folding bikes
Smithfield market, central London [map], Saturday 9th June 2012
Running since 2007, the IG London Nocturne served up a feast of cycling-based racing and entertainment around the streets of Smithfield Market.
The all-day free event features events like the Tern Folding Bike Race, Brooks Penny Farthing Race and Schwalbe Fixed Gear Longest Skid, as well as pro-riders thundering around the track until 10.30pm.
There's loads going on in the area around the track too, with live music, trade stands, food and drinks promotions and more. And, of course, lots of drinking.
