Opened by the owners of the much-loved (but sadly defunct) Raven bar in the East Village, the Boulevard Tavern is a friendly neighbourhood watering hole, located at 579 Meeker Ave between North Henry and Monitor Streets, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Enjoying a less-than-ideal location right under the BQE highway, the Boulevard Tavern is a restored 80 year old tavern featuring twelve tap beers, an internet jukebox, free wifi, pool table, pinball, and a small backyard.

It may be a bit of a schlep to get to, but it's well worth the journey, with visitors being rewarded by the same friendly vibe that made the Raven such an ace bar - and you might even come across a few old faces too!
