The Alma, 95 Church Road, Crystal Palace, London SE19 2TA.
Jessica Delfino and the Hightown Crows rock the Alma
Vic Lambrusco kicks off the evening with a riotous set.
Jessica Delfino was outrageous and hilarious.
Unfortunately, I was stuck behind the mixing desk so couldn't get a snap of Jessica chasing a drunk guy out of the door while playing him a tune on her rape whistle.
Her set was a real treat and went down a storm.
The welcome return of Dorset's finest, the Hightown Crows. We loved 'em.
The lovely Jess on the mixing deck. She may look a tad worried but she did an excellent job!

SPECIAL GUEST: JESSICA DELFINO & DIRTY FOLK ROCK
Outrageous guitar-packing New York comedian/musician who has been denounced by the Catholic League and banned from YouTube, her show at our JAMM night was so good we had to book her again. It'll be Jessica's last UK gig so make sure you see it!
"Best Potty-Mouthed, Guitar-Slinging Comedian" - Best Of 2005, The Village Voice
"A comedy rock star. . . brilliant" - ComedyCentral.com
"Jessica Delfino is a comedian-songwriter who can warble with the earnestness of a folksinger while elucidating the finer points of oral sex. A cross between Redd Foxx and Jewel, Delfino sincerely strums her guitar in time to funny, often dirty lyrics with a well-practiced deadpan." - The Onion
THE HIGHTOWN CROWS
"The Hightown Crows broken bottleneck blues sound with a country twist, raw rock and roll from a fly-blown chickenshack somewhere in Dorset....the rockabilly barons of Dorset."
Expect a great night of top notch music, starting at 8pm and going will midnight with the usual mix of alcohol-loosened DJs, deck mash-ups, dancing and beer spilling to a soundtrack of ska, indie, punk, new wave, Motown with a trouser flapping rock and roll mash up.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Tons of night buses running every 10-15 minutes; Crystal Palace BR 10mins walk.
