Eastbourne pier in winter

Winter. Breathing in crisp, cold air while looking out to sea from a deserted Victorian seaside pier. Perfect!

We'd spent the day climbing Beachy Head nearby and after half-freezing to death on the pier we located a nearby cafe and thawed out with a nice cup of tea and a slab of cake.
