Santa Monica neon beach sign I loved this place as it lived up to what I imagined LA to be! We walked down to the beach to the ghastly strains of "wooh-hoh! living on a prayer!" belting out from a local bar, while some big-hair heavy metal types strutted on the boardwalk. I ran to the sea to dip my toes into the Pacific Ocean for the first time in my life. all photos©urban75 2003
