Port of Pireaus

The island of Ios lies between Naxos and Santorini, and is hefty 7 hour (107 nautical miles) ferry journey from the Greek mainland port of Piraeus.

The 108 sq. km island only has a population of 1,500 people, but in the summer it's packed full of holiday makers and mad-for-it party goers.
