Tower bridge
One of the world’s most famous bridges, Tower Bridge is used by 150,000 vehicles every day, with the central road section being lifted 900 times a year to let tall ships cruise under.

The bridge was constructed in 1894, after 8 years of construction, and was the largest and most sophisticated bascule bridge ever built.
