View from the tram

Suspended high off Queensboro Bridge, a cable car (or 'tram' as new Yorkers inexplicably call it) takes passengers from E59th Street to Roosevelt Island, 300 feet out in the East River.

This view was taken looking south down First Avenue - note the tram's shadow on the building to the right!
