GWR Semaphore signal

Abergavenny still retains 19th century mechanical signalling.

Train arrivals are announced by the sound of levers being pulled and heavy signals falling into place.

This signal is indicating that the line ahead is clear for my Newport train. Three hours later, I'll be back in London!
