Hosting a vast array of London Underground’s historic artefacts, the London Transport Museum Depot makes for a fascinating day out.
If you’ve ever visited the main Covent Garden museum and craved more, the Acton Depot will present you with a huge selection of trams, trains, buses, signs, posters, original artwork and more.
The depot only opens to the public for special events throughout the year, including themed open weekends and guided tours, so look out for tickets.
The depot provides 6,000 square metres of storage space and houses over 370,000 items of all types.
