Wi Fi’d!
Those of you who followed this blog over the years will know about my long running battle with my home network. For some brief, glorious moments, everything works a treat. But then if there’s the slightest change to the system – or maybe it’s the colour of my socks – the whole thing collapses in a heap.
Well, I’m happy to report that my all new wireless network seems to be finally working jus’ dandy and I love it! (excuse me while I touch any wood I can find in the room).
As soon as the network sprung into life, I sat outside on my balcony and watched a live video stream from Times Square, NYC on my laptop. Neat!
(There’s still the tricky task of sorting out a server on the network, but I’ll leave that for now!)
