A rainy, damp but delightful Christmas Day walk through the deserted Wenallt Woods, north Cardiff

Although Christmas is a grand time to be with your family, I was delighted to be able to spend a couple of hours in splendid isolation walking through the Wenallt Woods on Christmas Day.

It was definitely welly weather!

The Wenallt (also known as Coed-y-Wenallt) is a  44 hectare area of semi natural ancient woodland to the north of Cardiff, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
