A very lively away crowd saw Dulwich Hamlet comfortably see off local rivals Tooting & Mitcham in the NK Stadium in deepest Morden yesterday.
The game had it all: passion, goals, smoke bombs, a mini-pitch invasion, banter, goalkeeper-taunting and, of course, another three points for the mighty Hamlet.
It’s a bugger to get to, but Tooting’s ground is a decent enough affair, and it was a treat to be able to get a tasty Jamaican veggie pattie from their hot food bar.
Dulwich (playing in blue) dominated the first half, but failed to convert their superiority into goals.

Great to see the German team. Altona FC being incorporated into a Dulwich banner. Around fifty of their supporters visited the Hamlet earlier this month and had something of a party.

Seconds after the second half kicked off, Ellis Green heading home for Hamlet – and the first of several flares went off in the Dulwich end.
There’s not many grounds where you can sit at a picnic table and watch the game!

The Tooting goalie found himself on the receiving end of a merciless ribbing and to his credit, he took it very well indeed. Nice one, fella.

Kudos must go to the Tooting security staff who almost certainly had a more stressful afternoon than they would have liked. To their credit, they handled the high spirits of the Hamlet fans well and didn’t over react.
