Protesters gathered around the ‘ring of steel’ in Regents Park, London today to protest at the visit of ‘weapons grade plum’ Donald Trump.

The protest took place ahead of a larger demo in central London tomorrow. The Facebook event page currently shows 63,000 people as going with 169,000 marked as ‘interested.’

14:00 Assemble outside the BBC building in Portland Place

March to Trafalgar Square

17:00 – 19:00 Rally in Trafalgar Square

If you can’t make it to London there are events happening as part of the Carnival of Resistance around the country from 12-14 July. Go to the map for details: https://www.stoptrump.org.uk/events/

Tomorrow, we can also expect to see a large inflatable ‘Trump baby‘ floating over London.

I rather liked the Twitter response to Trump’s arrival in Scotland:

Chat about the protest on our forum or join in with the hugely busy What stupid shit has Trump done today? thread, which currently has over 8,700 replies.
