More photos from the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2014, Hampton Court, London, July 2014

Following on from yesterday’s set of photos from the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, here’s the second batch showing some of the delightful flowers on display and other scenes from around the site.

Walking towards the pedestrian entrance to the Flower Show with the Thames to the west. The station is a short walk away.

Hampton Court Flower Show is all about the flowers, and there are some wonderful examples to be seen.

I know next to nothing about the things, but I can certainly appreciate their beauty! Here’s a selection:

The lavender packed a hefty aroma.

The Rose Marquee had a circus theme.

The theatre space were cooking demonstrations were held.

In the Growing taste Marquee there was loads of delicious food and drink to try. These dressings were really tasty.

Toffee vodka doesn’t sound too tempting a proposition, but boy it was nice!

This cheese was fantastic, especially the whisky cheddar.

There were a couple of short but rather heavy rain storms on the day, but thankfully we managed to scuttle into a marquee before getting soaked each time the heavens opened.

A jazz band greeted visitors once the doors had opened to the general public on the Monday evening.

These classical musicians were fabulously entertaining, playing as they cakewalk amongst the crowd and even getting some rock-band style leaps in the air.
