Norwich at night: street photos, bars, chip shops and architecture

Here’s a set of late night photos of the Norfolk city of Norwich, contrasting the beautiful architecture with images from the lively bars and chip shops.

Norwich is dominated by its medieval Norwich Cathedral, built in a Romanesque style with ornate cloisters.

Two imposing gates, St. Ethelbert’s and Erpingham, lead to the Tombland area, once a Saxon marketplace.

I took a quick walk before my band’s show at the Riverside venue ad grabbed these pics:

Live band at the Cuban restaurant.

Walking to the venue.

Across the river.

Late beers at the Compleat Angler.

Last orders are called.

The streets were busy with people going out for the night.

It may have been the second week in February and chuffing freezing, but t-shirts were the order of the day.

Chip shop scenes.
