Spotted yesterday – a hand-painted British Railways logo painted on to the wall of Otford railway station in Kent, next to a damaged window covered in hazard tape.

Formed of two interlocked arrows showing the direction of travel on a double track railway and introduced in 1965, the British Rail “double arrow” logo was swiftly nicknamed “the arrow of indecision” when it was first introduced.
