Robin Hood’s Bay – a beautiful North Yorkshire port

Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, England, June 2010 - photos and feature

We cycled to Robin Hood’s Bay when we were up in Whitby and it’s a stunningly beautiful place, with its narrow alleys making it easy to imagine what it was like when it was a major  smuggling port.

There’s no record of Robin Hood ever actually rocking up into the town, by the way.

Not a bad location for a pub!
