We spent a couple of hours pacing around the streets of Philadelphia recently. Here’s some of the things we saw:
Arriving at the railroad station.
Built between 1929 and 1933, 30th Street Station is considered one of the last-remaining grand train stations in the U.S.
The towering Comcast Innovation and Technology Center, built by Fosters + Partners. It’s the city’s tallest building standing 1,121-foot tall.
Catching the eye with a huge paintbrush pointing to the sky, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts was completed in 1876.
Taking 30 years to build, Philadelphia City Hall is the largest city building in the USA, and was the tallest building in the world completed in 1901.
