With Westminster council banning the large-scale street\u00a0placards that used to pepper the West End streets, the folks behind the Golf Sale business have had to downsize\u00a0their\u00a0advertising methods.<\/p>\n

With no large boards to advertise their golf-based goods, the bosses have\u00a0despatched poor sods on\u00a0minimum\u00a0wages to stand at busy\u00a0pedestrian\u00a0interchanges in bright\u00a0clothes\u00a0covered\u00a0with the words ‘Golf Sale.’<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Although this bloke’s outfit isn’t exactly subtle, I’ve seen far\u00a0worse<\/a>\u00a0on the streets of London.<\/p>\n

I felt particularly bad for this guy spotted on the streets in early 2010 (below).<\/p>\n

Mind you, if you think the above is humiliating\u00a0enough, check out this bizarre costume<\/a> seen in Oxford Street last year.<\/p>\n

Here’s one last look at the fella I saw on Saturday. He spent the entire time on his phone,\u00a0which\u00a0seems a reasonable enough way to try to stave off the boredom.<\/p>\n

I’ve worked the same job in the past and know how mind-numbingly dull it can be, so once again let me salute the human billboards of London: it’s a shit job but someone’s got to do it!<\/p>\n
