Here’s a handful of photos from my trip to Hay on Wye some time ago.<\/p>\n

It’s clearly a place full of trusting and honest people because many of the bookshops just had ‘honesty boxes’ provided.\u00a0Mind you, they can’t be that<\/em>\u00a0trusting\u00a0, because the owners of many of the boxes also saw fit to add, “Note: Boxes emptied daily.”<\/p>\n

The going rate seemed to be 50p for hardbacks and 30p for paperbacks.<\/p>\n

You’d have to be a right meanie to avoid paying such a small amount for a book.<\/p>\n
