It looks like things are going to be busy in Brixton tonight with over 600 people signing up for a party in Windrush Square following the death of Margaret Thatcher.<\/p>\n

An event on Facebook \u00a0entitled “Street Party In Brixton #nowthatchersdead<\/a>,” swiftly attracted\u00a0over 600 people – a figure I expect to keep on rising.<\/p>\n

Here’s how the organiser\u00a0‘Brixton Rebels’ describe the event:<\/p>\n

A party to celebrate the death of Thatcher and our continuing commitment to fight the legacy she left and that continues to devastate the lives of ordinary people everywhere.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The event starts at 5:30pm tonight at Windrush Square, central Brixton, London SW2 1JQ.<\/p>\n
