I loved this smart but\u00a0unpretentious\u00a0coffee shop in Liverpool’s bustling Bold Street.<\/p>\n

The coffee was\u00a0expertly\u00a0brewed and the food was fresh and delicious – and it was nice to hear\u00a0Abbey Road playing on the turntable too!<\/p>\n

The\u00a0d\u00e9cor of the cafe is simple with some interesting touches, like this beautiful Colnago racer suspended on the wall at the back.<\/p>\n

The space is\u00a0fairly\u00a0large, bright and airy, with local artworks decorating the walls.<\/p>\n

The staff were friendly and there was a good mix of people in the cafe too – and not a hipster in sight!<\/p>\n

There’s a great\u00a0selection\u00a0of teas on offer, but special note has to go the toast which was perfect for my breakfast!<\/p>\n

Bold Street Coffee was recently listed in the Independent’s guide to the 50 best Coffee Shops in the UK<\/a>, and there’s no question that it deserves such lofty praise. It’s a great place to visit.<\/p>\n
