The elegant curved glass and iron roof of\u00a0Brighton station.\u00a0Recently\u00a0refurbished, the structure dates back to 1882.<\/p>\n

The view from the station is instantly uplifting, offering weary Londoners their first glimpse of the sea.<\/p>\n

I love the Brighton Street Market in\u00a0Upper Gardner Street. It’s like a proper old fashioned market, with all sorts of\u00a0interesting\/bizarre\/valuable\/crap objects to tempt your wallet.<\/p>\n

The covered walk on Madeira Terrace. \u00a0Created in 1896, the delicate cast iron\u00a0construction runs from the Aquarium Terraces to Duke’s Mound, almost 3,000 feet.<\/p>\n

Now known as the Concorde 2 (where I recently played with the Mrs Mills Experience<\/a>), the Victorian building housed tea rooms in the 1800s, but by the 1960s had become \u00a0a bikers’ cafe of ill repute.<\/p>\n

It was later used as an amusement arcade in the 1970s, and has been an excellent nightclub\/live venue since \u00a02000.<\/p>\n
